Cast iron as a base material for resistance plates is a low-cost solution. Twice a week plates are cast in various shapes and values for about every standard system in Europe (GINO, Siemens, AEG, Stärckström, Alsthom, etc…)

Cast resistors are ideal as a cut-out device or for momentary loads. They have a high absorption capacity and a high heat dissipation capacity. The plates are available loose, in packs or they are supplied in fully equipped cabinets which have the same dimensions as the original cabinets, so that replacements can be carried out without any assembly problems.

The illustrated plate is a type-E10 used for Siemens applications.
